Hands of God Puppet Theater is in the works of doing a Christmas performance for Christmasville in downtown Rock Hill. I can't say much as to what we are doing so far but I'll know more later on.

One Way Street

Our director and three of eight team members, me included, went to the One Way Street puppet festival this past weekend in Concord, NC. While it may be a time to goof off wit other puppeteers, you should also pay attention and learn something that may just make you better. Here are some notes that might help you start a team or to improve the team you already have:

Team Building
-Learning to trust one another
-Getting your team on the same page
-Build the the reputation of the team's ministry in the church and in the community
-What is the team's vision?
-What is the focus of your team?

Other Notes
-Where are your thoughts and heart? Are they pleasing in His sights?
-Don't give up on your weakest member,
-You need to bring yourself down to the ability of your weakest member instead of bringing them up to your level.
-You must always start with your weakest link and work from there.
-Everyone should have a life verse that they live by.
-Devotions are they best way to start every practice!
-Would you rather have a team or a ministry? A team comes together for the sole purpose of winning; a ministry comes together and sets goals to complete.

Team Update

We are in the process of recruiting some new members for the team and to do that, we have decided to do a show for the middle and high schoolers at our church.

We have had one new recruit recently. His name is Josh. He came from another team that recently stopped doing puppets. He's helped us out alot and we are thankful to have him!

H.O.G.

H.O.G. stands for Hands of God. That is what our church team is called. We do performance competitions at One Way Street events in SC. We perform for the preschoolers at our church on Sunday mornings but are hoping to do more than that. Occasionally we do a show for Awanas and we love that!
